Considering that quite a few people ask about parking near the Convention Center, should this forum be changed to, say, "Travel, Housing, Parking, and Dining 2018"?  That way, you are less likely to have half of the parking posts here and half in General Info.

I would think 'parking' is a subset of 'travel'.

It would help to have it explicitly stated.  I used Gate 10 parking this year and my car was so filthy after four days out there that I had to wash the windows before i could drive.

I see "travel" as ways of getting to Indianapolis.  Perhaps "transportation"?  Or should this forum include people driving here (e.g. this would be where things like carpool requests are made)?

I personally found that parking at Lucas Oil Stadium for $20 a day was a great deal, the lost was big enough that I don't think it ever filled up, and it was a very short walking distance from the convention center.

Gate 10 bought the parking pass through Gencon 4 days for $40 and we parked right by Lucas Oil Field. Just A few min walk to ICC

Has there been any word yet if Gate 10 is going to have the same deal again this year? Because, that would be a great deal.

The World Wonders Garage is $22 a day.  It is connected to the skyway between the convention center and the Circle Center Mall.

This is my first year going. I've got a hotel downtown, but the downtown hotel doesn't include parking.
I'm getting there Wednesday.
Does anyone know what would be the best overnight parking options?
